Lua & Luau Script Protection
PRIMEz provides an authenticated source-protection workflow for Lua and Roblox Luau projects. Submit code through PRIMEz Studio, configure supported build options, and review the generated output before distributing it.
Configurable build options
Available controls include VM mode, opcode mutation, constant encryption, control-flow transformation, anti-tamper options, bytecode packing, and build or VM randomization.
Authenticated workflow
The VM compiler requires a signed-in PRIMEz user. Unauthenticated guest requests are rejected.
Recommended workflow
- Sign in to PRIMEz and open Studio.
- Submit the Lua or Luau source you are authorised to protect.
- Choose the relevant profile and target options.
- Review and test the generated output in a safe development environment before release.
Security limits
Obfuscation can raise the effort required to inspect code, but no obfuscator can guarantee that software is impossible to reverse-engineer. Keep source backups, test generated output, and never submit passwords, API secrets, private keys, or other credentials as source text.
